2025 Fall Check Up PCSA New Customer wanted to sign up for service plan. Blower motor was dying. Replaced blower motor. 2 of the 3 electric heaters are operational. Fusible link for heater #3 needs replaced. System keeps short cycling in heat pump mode. Cause of the issue appears to be in the defrost board. To start service plan, replace blower motor, fusible link, and the defrost board, gave customer an estimate of $1,149. The customer paid $834 for the motor and service plan. 1/22/26 Replaced fusible link. Third heater still occasionally short cycling. The system isn’t getting enough air in the return air. Another vent maybe needed in the future. After digging deeper into the short for the outdoor coil, it turned out to be a dead low pressure switch causing the system to short cycle. Bypassed switch and tested operation. Customer can have us replace the low pressure switch later. System appears to be operating normally at this time.

There’s a bad pressure switch tech replaced one out of the two and the second pressure switches getting ordered and will be back to replace it.
