AC Maintenance PCSA 2023 Heating Check Up 2 Systems Renewal Completed cooling maintenance, cleaned coils, flushed drains, filters are clean, checked system operation and found no issues, made sure both systems are working properly Both systems are cooling at this time

Customer was noticing a loud rattling sound coming from the furnace. Furnace was operating normally upon arrival. Cleared drain lines to make sure nothing was stuck inside the line. Capacitor on blower motor is getting weak. And bearings for inducer and blower motor are both getting worn and causing some play in the motor shafts. Either one could be the cause of the issue but nothing noticeable happened during the inspection. Recommend customer watches furnace and try to record sound to help narrow down issue. System is operating normally at this time. 1/8/24 Returned after customer was able to record the furnace making noise but was not able to get it to occur while under observation. Most likely cause of the issue is the inducer assembly. The library board is going to vote on whether repairs are needed or if a new system is a better option. To replace the inducer motor and blower capacitor, the price given was $942 (including service call). If the blower or inducer motor should fail

Heating Maintenance PCSA 2023 Heating Check Up Prepaid. System is heating efficiently at this time, filters changed routinely by customer. Found some refrigerant piping on the coil rubbing together, pulled apart and wrapped with foam tape to prevent any rupture. Taped up insulation that was on back of the door coming off into the blower motor.

2023 PCSA Heating Check Up Renewal HVAC Service Agreement Furnace Service. Found that downstairs system has a leak on the liquid line service port, this will need to be repaired. Will come up with a quote and let customer know. Suction line service port was also leaking as well, however I tightened it and it stopped for now. We will double check that it’s not leaking when we get here to repair the liquid line however it might be a good idea to just replace both since Both were leaking to prevent any future issues. Compressor was running, I explained to customer that running it without refrigerant can cause damage to the compressor and there is no guarantee after it’s fixed that there will not be any further issues. Customer is going to discuss the idea of a new system and get back to us. Emergency heat is on at this time.

AC Maintenance PCSA 2023 AC Check Up Prepaid 2 Systems. System is cooling efficiently at this time, outdoor coil is clean, filters changed by customer routinely. Outdoor unit’s contactor was showing voltage drop so I replaced it under warranty. Everything else checks out great. Customer declined personal home’s system maintenance at this time because they are having it replaced.

System is completely frozen over all the way to the compressor, we need to let it thaw before I can make an accurate diagnosis. I have fan set to “on” for the time being. We will get back out here ASAP. 8-4-2023: Returned and all ice was melted from system, found that cause was the filter being dirty and restricting airflow. Condenser coil was also extremely dirty and restricting airflow. Since we had two Issues that could’ve been prevented on a maintenance, customer agreed to a PCSA plan. I performed a full inspection on the system and found that indoor blower had a capacitor that was extremely weak. Replaced capacitor so motor could run at its full potential. We will continue to monitor system on future maintenances. At this time, everything checks out good and system is cooling efficiently.

Added R22 and verified operation of system, leak is pretty bad and compressor has been running without refrigerant which is causing a lot of stress on system. There is no guarantee that system will cool home efficiently will hold charge, customer is aware of this . Pete is coming out for an estimate next week.
