HVAC Service AC Repair Going to start by making thermostat normal instead of communicating. They do not need a communicating stat for their system. No outdoor faults at this time today. Thermostat seems to be main issue. Shouldn’t need to pull any wire for this job. Time and materials.

2023 PSCA Heating Check Up Renewal AC Checkup Completed cooling maintenance, cleaned coils, flushed drains, replaced filter, checked system operation and found no issues, upstairs AC contactor is getting pitted and recommended replacing contactor, customer wants to wait on repair until the next visit. Both systems are cooling at this time
2024 service ✅
Complaint of furnace constantly running. Heat pump was not running due to a bad contactor, replaced and verified operation. Once system was running, it tripped on high pressure. After watching system operation I removed filter and pressures began going back to normal. Watched system run and verified pressures and subcooling. All checks good but we will continue to monitor Incase there is an intermittent problem with TXV.
Heating Repair 2023 PCSA Heating Check Up Renewal Heating Maintenance Checked wire connections. Replaced filters (customer provided). Thermostats are operating normally. Heat strips are operating normally. Defrost modes are operating normally. Puron levels for the main system looked a little low so 1 lb of R-410A was added. Everything else was clean and checked out well. Both systems were operating normally at this time.
Ran wire to new location for thermostat on primary system and installed wireless thermostat for PTAC unit. Both systems are operating normally at this time.

Heating Maintenance PCSA 2023 Heating Check Up Prepaid. Both systems check out good at this time, filters are routinely changed by the customer, gas furnace is heating very efficiently, heat pump is struggling a little bit due to extreme temps, however this is normal. Other than that all checks good. Customers are concerned about one of the communicating thermostats having problems, unfortunately it needs to be one by the manufacturer specifically. We will look and see if we can get one.
Heating Repair Complaint, heat pump not working. System had a bad disconnect, replaced disconnect and upon verifying operation I found that heat pump was still not running due to power dropping a leg. Turned off the breaker again inside and then turned it back on, giving system full power. This is likely due to the breaker potentially failing, informed customer that he might want to consider having it replaced. This could’ve been what killed the disconnect as well, or a power surge taking out both. Verified there was nothing else going on the system and the system is heating efficiently after repair. Signed customer up for maintenance plan so we can continue monitoring system. Customer would like thermostat replaced at next maintenance due to current one being old.

Furnace Service 2023 Heat Check Up
Upon arrival heat pump was working properly, activated defrost successfully, issue with cooling mode came around when customer got back from trip and they had to turn thermostat back to heating mode. When they turned thermostat back to heating mode auxiliary heat turned on because they set thermostat temperature 3 degrees above room temperature. Customer was not informed about aprilaire thermostats activating auxiliary heat when temperature is raised more than 1 degree above room temperature. Told customer to see if thermostat acts up again and we will replace thermostat free of charge System is heating at this time
Customer was worried because there was frost on his system. He said he turned off the system and turned on emergency heat, but then turned system back on on accident. After that system would not run. I found that system had a popped fuse but could not find the cause. Most likely just a bad fuse and age of system. Will continue to monitor however system is running good at this time.
